Remember this scene from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"?
If you do, chances are you are LESS likely to pull a Ferris and call in sick to take the day off. Well, that's the idea behind the findings from SpringHill Suites. In their annual travel survey, the found that more than 60% of us between the ages of 18-34 have used a sick day to take the day off.
But can you blame people for taking a "well day?" The average new employee gets 11 vacation days for one year of work with accrued sick and personal time to use. So if you don't get sick, are you wasting your "earned" time off?
What's your personal "sick day" policy?
