The Sussex County Chapter of Business Women Networking Involving Charity and Education (BW NICE) announces the launch of the Red Shoe Fashion Show and Luncheon to occur April 28, 2017, at the Sparta, New Jersey Lake Mohawk Country Club, with proceeds to benefit Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault Intervention Services (DASI) of Newton, New Jersey.
“The Red Shoe is the flagship fundraising event of BW NICE,” explains BW NICE Sussex County Chapter President, Donna Price, “Each chapter hosts its own fundraiser in partnership with its charity partner to help end domestic violence and sexual assault.” Red Shoe Committee Chair Judy Tonkin adds, “Our premiere event, which is open to the public, offers a fun, spectacular show at a gorgeous venue. We’re hoping lots of women and men join us in supporting DASI’s wonderful work.”
Tickets to the event cost $55. for members and $65. for non-members/guests. Tables for 10 attendees are also offered for $550. Since the launch of the first Red Shoe™ event in 2011, BW NICE Chapters have raised approximately $70,000 for charity partners. In 2017 the organization overall is expected to raise an additional $50,000 - $100,000.
BW NICE, a registered nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation, is a unique women’s networking organization that provides women at all stages of business and personal life with support, education and resources and promotes value in the balance of business networking and charitable outreach. The organization brings women together to gain meaningful business connections, learn new ways to succeed, and foster an empowering environment. In addition to monthly networking meetings, each chapter raises funds and awareness supporting a local organization in the fight against domestic violence. BW NICE currently operates eight chapters across New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
