Disneyland Robot Ursula's Head Falls Off - Keeps Singing Anyway

The Uncanny Valley has a new pit of horror for your nightmares about Disney Villains.

Guests were shocked to see an Ursula animatronic singing without its head on the "Little Mermaid" ride at Disney's California Adventure on Sunday. Video of the decapitated villain ride was posted online on Sunday and it quickly went viral.

The parkgoer, who doesn't want to be identified, says children were upset when they spotted the Little Mermaid villain writing: "This happened today which caught me off guard because Disney is usually so critical over things like this #offwithherhead!"

“Immediately after we got off we were ushered out along with everyone else, and the employees looked very concerned,” she wrote. “Many people had seen Ursula decapitated, including kids who understandably were upset.”

In the video, children can be heard murmuring about the missing head, while the animatronic continues to sing and dance, apparently unaware (or uncaring) that its head was dangling off its body.

That wasn't the only decapitation this weekend. According to images shared on social media from Disneyland Paris, the auctioneer figure from the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction was also spotted without his head.

Disney hasn't commented whether or not the ride has been repaired, but you can get a look at how it's supposed to normally operate below:
