Brenda McCloskey was getting into her Subaru in Narragansett, Rhode Island when a bear approached her car. According to Ms. McCloskey, the bear opened the passenger door with its mouth!
The NeCn website for Rhode Island reports: "He opened the car door half way and I was able to close it several times but I couldn’t lock it until it was completely closed so it was a tug of war for what seemed like an eternity,” McCloskey said.
The woman was injured and the bear was scared off when she started the car.
