Cedar Lane Annual Family Festival on Memorial Day 2024!

The Cedar Lane Management Group’s Annual Family Festival will be held on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, 2024 on Cedar Lane from American Legion to Elm Street in Teaneck, New Jersey from 11AM-6PM.

Eight veterans and community leaders will be honored including Ret. Sgt. Scott Pleasants of the United States Air Force. Elizabeth Davis, founder of Bright Side Family, which provides affordable housing and support services to older adults, will receive the Hon. Lizette Parker Memorial Award for Civic Achievement. Ms. Parker was a former mayor of Teaneck. The presentations will begin at 12:30PM following the service at the Municipal Green.

Over 100 exhibitors, including 40 stores, will have booths on Cedar Lane and will be offering their wares at reduced prices. There will be an ethnic food fair including brisket, sausage, Japanese and Chinese foods and desserts by Butterflake and Mortgage Apple Cakes.

There will be numerous activities for children, highlighted by the annual Blueberry Pie Eating Contest for children between the ages of eight and thirteen. Cash prizes will be given to the winners in each category – Best Eater and Dirtiest Face. Face painting booths, sand art and ten bounce rides will be located on Garrison at Cedar Lane plus a train that goes around the festival. In addition, there will be several water games provided by Drown the Clown.

There will be continuous entertainment throughout the day beginning with Theresa Sareo who will sing several original songs in honor of the many veterans who will attend.

3:30-4:15PM Jessa Salerno Trio

4:30-5:15PM Linda Miller (formerly of the Marvelletes) and Friends

5:30-6:00PM Victoria Casella & Clifton Lewis will perform Broadway show tunes
