Join us on Tuesday, November 18th, from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the SCAHC Spring Street Gallery, located at 133 Spring Street in Newton. This fun and festive workshop is the perfect opportunity to design and create three of your very own colorful glass ornaments. Whether you're looking to decorate your tree with unique handmade treasures or give a truly special gift, this class is for you.
Guided by fused glass artist Josie Bachetti, you’ll learn to work with sheet glass, sparkling frit (crushed glass), and playful stringers (thin rods) to bring your vision to life. You can craft timeless holiday favorites or try fun themed designs like a Santa suit, a gingerbread house, or a melting snowman. After the workshop, your creations will be kiln-fired at Josie's studio, permanently fusing your designs into smooth, sparkling ornaments that will shine for many holidays to come.
This workshop is perfect for beginners, so no prior experience is necessary. All tools and materials are provided—just bring your holiday spirit! It’s a wonderful chance to not only make beautiful ornaments but also create festive memories and learn the art of fused glass.
