Shaun Platt, 26, tells ABC News that while transporting 32-year-old Jody Warner home from a pub Friday she took issue with his route and got nasty.
He says the assistant DA called him an "idiot," a "retard," and a "f---ing joke," and that he finally pulled over and asked her to get out. He says he called the cops after she refused, mused out loud "this might be a kidnapping," and even hit him. Platt says she also threw her job title around and said, "Who are [the cops] gonna believe, you or me?"—at which point, he noted, "'You're kind of right,' so I took out my phone and I recorded it." He ultimately gave the recording to the Dallas Morning News.
