An Ohio police officer suffered a head injury after his partner accidentally shot him with Taser while responding to a domestic violence incident on Thanksgiving. When the officers arrived on scene, they encountered Christopher McClinton sitting in a vehicle. McClinton refused to give police his identification and the officers pulled him from the vehicle.
McClinton started to resist as one officer pinned him to the ground in an attempt to handcuff him. The second officer pulled out his Taser and fired on the suspect, but one of the prongs from the Taser struck his partner in the head.
The officer was taken to the hospital with a head injury. The suspect was arrested and pleaded not guilty to charges of obstructing official business, failure to disclose personal information and resisting arrest,
