A free seminar about animal care careers will be offered to teens and adults on Wednesday, March 28th, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Project Self-Sufficiency. Dr. Linda Krotje Wall, veterinarian at the Tranquility Animal Clinic, will be joined by Father John’s Animal House Shelter Operations Manager Garrett Barcheski and Dr. Jesslyn Bryk-Lucy, Assistant Professor of Equine Studies at Centenary University, for a discussion of the background, education and the skills necessary for success. Questions from the audience will be welcome. “Becoming You: Animal Care Careers” will explore vocations such as veterinarian, veterinary technician, horse trainer, stable owner, canine behavior specialist, animal shelter manager, and other professions.
