The SkyScreamer ride at Six Flags Great Adventure got stuck on Sunday afternoon. Passengers were stranded for about 15 minutes before the ride was returned to the ground.
Safety sensors detected some sort of error on Sunday which brought the ride to a halt. After a 15-minute hiatus, the ride returned to its home position, according to a park spokesperson. The ride will remain closed until it is thoroughly inspected.
Here's the story from NJ.com, along with a video of the ride with stranded passengers, and a promo video of the ride, which opened in 2012.
