The Eighth Annual Rock Ribs and Ridges Rib Eating Contest goes down on Saturday afternoon at Franklin-Sussex AutoMall.

Non-profit organizations will compete for a $500 cash prize.  Groups who've committed to the contest this year include the Sussex-Wantage Historical Society, Family Partners, the March of Dimes, the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice and the Sojihuggles Children's Foundation.  Andy Garger, who took top honors last year and is pictured below, is expected to compete again.  Andy represents the Sparta Education Foundation.

I'll be there.  The Farmer Phil Band will entertain.  NNJ will have games and prizes.  The famous Franklin-Sussex AutoMall barbecue will be fired up.  Howard Freeman, the CEO of Rock Ribs and Ridges, will emcee the event.
