Students and Families at High Point Regional High School are mourning the loss of one of their classmates this morning.
SOURCE : NJ HERALD"The news of the student's passing was shared in an announcement read by Principal Jon Tallamy to the school staff and the approximately 900-member student body shortly after school began Monday.
Tallamy wrote. "Our thoughts and sympathies are with his family and friends."
Hennion, though born in Switzerland, was raised in Sussex County. An avid ice hockey player, he also enjoyed drawing, computer science and interactive media and recently had been accepted to the Pennsylvania College of Technology, where he was to have begun studying computer science in the fall.
School officials, for now, have appealed to the community to avoid spreading rumors about the cause of death that could be hurtful to Hennion's family.
However, the obituary in today's paper indicates the family is requesting memorial donations be made to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline."
