The Sunflower Maze in Sandyston. Lake Hopatcong. The New Jersey State Fair. All three of these destinations are included in the 2018 Must-See Bucket List compiled by New Jersey Family Magazine. And August is the time to see them.
"There's a magical farm in Sandyston that comes to life for about a month in August," according to the editors. "A visit to this treasure will make you feel like you've walked into a field of bright yellow sunshine. You'll have a blast getting ‘lost' in the many varieties of this happy flower."
I've never heard of this sunflower maze, but I'll have to go take a look this month. (It opens this year on August 18th.) The list serves as a guide to terrific places for you and your family to visit all across the state.
