What I Did on My Summer Vacation

Well I did a whole bunch of things on my week off, but I never thought I'd enjoy the Circle Line as much as I did.

I love old New York City, and I thought I knew a lot about the Big Apple, but the Circle Line ride around the island of Manhattan taught me so many things I never knew, thanks to tour guide David Parker.   I would've paid Mr. Parker the $43 fee just to hear him talk about New York without the boat ride.

If you're going to do it, take the two-and-a-half-hour tour and go around the entire island of Manhattan. You board the boat at the pier on West 43rd Street .  You can get more info right here.  Hopefully you'll be lucky enough to land a ride with tour guide David Parker.  He puts on quite a show.

Here are a few photos I took.  My favorite is the shot of the Statue of Liberty, which you'll only see from that angle if you're in the middle of New York Harbor.

New York City is the greatest city in the world.  See it from the water.  You'll love it!
