New Jersey to Investigate Catholic Church for Sex Abuse Allegations

New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal will form a task force to look into allegations of sex abuse committed by Catholic clergy, as well as attempts to cover up these incidents, North Jersey.com is reporting.

Nearly 300 priests were implicated in a recent investigation conducted by Pennsylvania A.G. Josh Shapiro.  At least four of those priests spent part of their ministries in New Jersey, according to North Jersey.com.

Attorney Grewal has setup a special hotline for New Jersey residents to report possible abuses by Catholic Clergy.  The toll-free number is 855-363-6548.
