A direct bus from Vernon to midtown Manhattan will launch its maiden voyage on Monday morning.
Coach USA will offer nonstop service from Vernon Valley Plaza at 530 Country Road 515 to 42nd Street in Manhattan with stops at Seventh Avenue, Fifth Avenue, Third Avenue and First Avenue. One bus will depart from Vernon at 6:45am and begin its return route at 42nd and First at 5:15pm. The bus will operate only on weekdays.
Commuter fare for ten trips will be $150. A one-way ride will be $18. Tickets can be purchased at commuterwiz.com.
