A boil-water alert has been issued for residents and businesses in the borough of Andover following a water main break earlier today on Lenape Road, the New Jersey Herald reports.
Residents might have very low water pressure or no water at all today as crews continue to work to repair the damage. Officials are mandating that residents bring tap water to a rolling boil before consuming.
The Herald also says that the eight-inch water main is below a plastic water drainage pipe, which will need to be removed first to address the problem.
