NJ.com has updated their list of the most-stolen automobiles in the great state of New Jersey.
Once again, older Hondas top the list. Now why is that? Security issues. According to the report, newer vehicles are more difficult to steal. (On a national level, one out of every eight car thefts happen due to keys left in the ignition!)
The good news is: car theft is decreasing in New Jersey. In 2018 through August, 6646 cars, trucks and buses were reported stolen. That's down nearly 15 percent from the same time last year.
Here's the new list from NJ.com. Is your car on here?
