Is this guy really a hedge fund manager?
Carlos Meija of New York City was charged with assault and terroristic threats when he wielded a sword at a bride and her wedding party at the Crystal Springs resort last Saturday. The bride was cut on the left arm following some sort of altercation with Meija and transported to Newton Medical Center on her WEDDING DAY. Injuries were not life-threatening.
According to the New Jersey Herald, Meija is a New York City hedge fund manager who has also opened an office in Columbia, where he is from.
Several witnesses said Meija had been seen earlier in the day walking around the hotel with the sword. The altercation happened in a hotel corridor.
He has been released from the Sussex County jail pending a court appearance.
