Cardi B just wants Selena Gomez to hold on.

In the days after news broke about the former Disney star's reported "emotional breakdown," the "I Like It" rapper spoke to E! News about her thoughts on Selena's current mental health journey.

Cardi first recalled how the two met each other while shooting the music video for their new single "Taki Taki," saying, "When I met her, she was such a sweet, adorable person. She's really what you see. She's really a sweetheart."

"If someone [like] me gets so bothered and triggered [by] small stuff I can't imagine how somebody so sweet like her... [feels]," Cardi continued. "I just want to let her know, Girl, you're beautiful, you're rich and hold on because even sometimes I feel like I'm losing my mind. I just got to pray hard to God and get away from social media."

The "Bodak Yellow" rapper also leaned on her own experience with dealing with the pressures of fame to explain what Selena might be going through. "A lot of people be like 'why don't you go [on] a vacation,' [but] it's like, You could go on vacation, you could go anywhere in the world but you can't escape your mind."

As for what Cardi does to help her get through trying times, she said, for her, it's all about prayer and family support. "Be surrounded with people that love you," she explained. "Sometimes I go to my grandmother's house and I stay there for two weeks because they uplift me. Sometimes I go upstate to my family's house and they pray for me. We do prayers for a whole two hours and I feel uplifted."

As previously reported, Selena checked herself into a mental health treatment center earlier this week. The 26-year-old singer is seeking treatment for anxiety and depression after experiencing a panic attack while dealing with multiple complications from her kidney transplant.
