ICYMI: Circular Saw as weapon in Montague

The drug epidemic is unreal in Sussex and surrounding counties. Seemingly every time I see the police blotter or local news headline, drugs always play a role in the incident.  This is no different.

I caught this from the NJ HERALD:

" On Oct. 3, State Police troopers were dispatched to a report that "a black male was assaulting individuals on scene and breaking car windows." with a circular saw...

Now  I ask myself , what makes a person do something so crazy??

Well.... it appears there was some sort of argument when 2 men started fighting. One got knocked out and the other kept assaulting him until he was unconscious.

Barrington Walker of Dingmans Ferry PA was charged with the following offenses:1: second-degree aggravated assault2: third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose3: third-degree criminal mischief4: third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance -- clonazepam5: third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance -- Suboxone6: fourth-degree possession of a prescription legend drug without a prescription -- gabapentin.

Two witnesses stated that Walker had initially punched the victim, who fell to the ground. After the victim fell, Walker allegedly continued assaulting the man until he lost consciousness.
