Who is Hiring for the Holidays?

Target, Amazon, UPS and Kohl's lead the list of companies who intend to hire close to 590,000 seasonal employees this year, according to Money magazine.

Back in August, the Bureau of Labor Statistics announced that there were more job openings than people looking for work.  At the end of August, there were close to 7 million job openings.

So companies looking for seasonal help are offering more incentives than ever, like discounts, gift cards and competitive salaries.  In Amazon's case, higher pay.  Amazon raised its minimum wage to $15 per hour on November 1st.

FedEx, Macy's, the Gap and Bloomingdale's are also looking for help.
