The holidays are normally happy times, but for many older adults in nursing homes Christmas is just a lonely time with no families, no presents at Christmas and little joy. This year WSUS, WNNJ, and MAX 106.3 are asking for your help with our Gifts for Goldens program.
With help from our friends at Selective Insurance, Riviera Maya, Ultima Hair Designers, Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, and the Rockaway Townsquare Mall, we will be at the Rockaway Townsquare Mall on Sunday December 16th from 1pm to 4pm, next to the Wish Wall for Children who also need some love this holiday season.
Please stop by and select a name off the Gifts for Goldens tree from a resident at Homestead Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, pick out a gift for that person, donate it and we will see it gets delivered.
