Alex Trebek Returns to 'Jeopardy!'

Alex Trebek returned to the set of "Jeopardy!" on Tuesday to resume taping of his long-running game show. This was his first time behind the lectern since announcing that he's been diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

As reported by CBS News, a spokesperson for Sony, which produces "Jeopardy!," said "We are taping today and Alex is here is as scheduled."

Trebek, age 78, has every intention of fulfilling his contract with Sony. He has three years left on the deal.

"I'm going to fight this," he said in a You Tube video. ""And I'm going to keep working, and with the love and support of my family and friends, and with the help of your prayers, also, I plan to beat the low survival rate statistics for this disease."

Alex Trebek seems to be one of the last folks on television who deals exclusively in facts. I wish him the best.
