Spring Fling promises to be fun for all folks and families looking to celebrate the changing of the season.
Open to the public, the event, hosted by the Sussex County 4-H program, will be held on Saturday, April 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 pm at the Sussex County Fair Grounds, 37 Plains Road, Shotwell Building and Pavilion, Augusta, NJ. Admission is free. Highlighting 4-H clubs throughout the county, Spring Fling will offer kid friendly, age appropriate activities including a scavenger hunt, meet the Zookeeper, kiss a chicken, “Plant Your Own Zone” and meet the goats. Fundraising opportunities for the 4-H groups will take place and include wheat berry grass kits and hand crafted items. Food will be available from More Thyme Catering.
