St Patricks Weekend 2019
Friday night I decided to actually go out and see the Brad Williams comedy show at the famous Newton Theater. They let me go-back stage pre show and say hi to Brad which was AWESOME .. He is such a cool, down to earth guy....and by that I dont mean closer to the ground! . Of course being St Patricks weekend I told Brad about my feelings about the obligation being a little person on St Patricks Day holds.. Heres the video
Then on Saturday... it was all abou the St Patricks Day Parade in Newton !
Huge thanks to Chris Hayden and the crew at Haydens Service in Sparta for their help
and to "Felix and The Cats" ( Don Oriolo, Chris Bolger , and Shawn O'Flynn) for their perfect musical contributions to the day.
There was even a special appearance by FELIX THE CAT HIMSELF !
Then on Sunday it was off to the Blue Arrow Farm in Pine Island NY for theor first ever St Patricks day event, held to raise money for the Blue Arrow Horse Sanctuary/ Rescue.
Being that I still had Felix with me ... it made for some great photo opportunities!
In case you havent heard about the Blue Arrow Farm
"Blue Arrow Farm is a pristine agriculturally-zoned former horse farm and training facility, complete with a track for exercising horses. It fell into disrepair and was vacant, vandalized, had squatters and vagrants and was purchased by a man of great imagination and vision, who is creating a multi-use facilitythat blends gracefully into the setting . . . there is art, rescued horses, and something to see for everybody . . . performance venues, recording studio, art gallery, wildlife sanctuary, an apiary producing honey, walking paths with giant sculptures decorating magnificent scenery. It's a place to enjoy music, nature and art in many forms. It is entirely wholesome and harmonious with the area, and built with a tasteful elegance and attention to the smallest detail."
