Eric Clapton performs an electric "Layla" at Budokan

I'm well aware that "Layla" is one of Eric Clapton's signature tunes. He first recorded it as part of Derek and the Dominoes for the LP 'Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs." In 1992, an acoustic version was a highlight of his 'Unplugged' performance.

But I didn't know that he's only been doing the acoustic version version since 2013. And last Saturday night, at the Budokan in Tokyo, he plugged in for "Layla" again. This version is a bit more subdued than the original, but it's a classic that's good to hear again.
