'The Many Saints of Newark,' the new Sopranos movie, is in production right now. The film is a prequel to the HBO series.
Michael Gandolfini, the son of late actor James Gandolfini, plays a young Tony Soprano in the film. Ray Liotta and Leslie Odom Jr. are in the cast as well.
A casting call for extras is being held tonight for actors and actresses of all ages to appear in a scene that takes place in 1967, the same year as the Newark riots. The address for the open call is Express Newark at 54 Halsey Street, 2nd floor, in Newark.
