'The Sopranos' are back - sort of.
'The Many Saints of Newark' is the name of the new film prequel to the HBO series 'The Sopranos.' Filming began in Newark today. Branford Place, between Broad and Washington Streets, is the location this week.
The film stars Michael Gandolfini, the son of James Gandolfini, as a young Tony Soprano and is expected to be released on the big screen in 2020. Ray Liotta and Leslie Odom Jr. also appear in the film.
