My Personal Look Back at 2019 in Photos & Video

People always ask me why I love and admire animals so much.

Its because they show me how to be a better human ! They teach by example :

~When friends and loved ones come over, they always run to greet them.

~They never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.

~They allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in their face to be pure ecstasy.

~ They take naps.

~They stretch before rising, then run, romp, and play all day. ~They thrive on attention and want people to love them.

~ They avoid biting when a simple growl will do.

~ They're LOYAL.

~ They're incapable of lying

~ They Never pretend to be something they're not.

~ If what they want lies buried, they dig until they find it.

~ When someone is having a bad day, they sit silently close by, and nuzzle them gently!

On warm days, they stop to lie on their back on the grass . On hot days, they drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree. When they're happy, they dance around and wag their entire body. They delight in the simple wonders of a long walk. They have no concept of time. They don't the concept of life and death! They just enjoy every moment being alive !

There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. So, love the people who treat you right. Think good thoughts and pray for the ones who don't ! Life is too short to be anything but happy.

Falling down is part of LIFE... Getting back up is LIVING.

To all my friends and extended family, I hope you all take a lesson from an animal in 2020 . Even better , open your heart and home to one in need and make it a wonderful adventure !

May you and your loved ones have a Happy and Blessed New Year.

Having this little guy in my life has been amazing. He will be turning 3 on January 23rd. Totally loving being his "Umpie Yimmie" =)

On July 4th I was able to release a red squirrel back to the wild after being rescued from the ceiling at our radio station. Pay close attention at the 4:18 mark when the wee little one makes his ( or her) first leap to freedom

Heres to making more amazing friends & memories in 2020 !
