PA Man Pleads Guilty to Eluding Stanhope Police, Possession of Cocaine

A Pennsylvania man pled guilty on February 5 to eluding Stahope police, possession of cocaine, and other charges. According to the Sussex County Prosecutor's Office, James Martin, of Pocono Lake, admitted to driving away from a motor vehicle stop at a high rate of speed and being under the influence at the time.

The 53-year-old reportedly pled guilty to driving while intoxicated, second-degree eluding, third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and fourth-degree driving while suspended for a second or subsequent DWI.

His sentencing is set for March 21.
