A NYC-based cable provider is set to purchase Service Electric Cable TV of New Jersey for $150 million. According to the New Jersey Herald, Altice USA's acquisition should be completed by the end of September, pending regulatory approvals by the state.
Bob Williams, general counsel for Service Electric Cable, told the newspaper that "this was the right time for the company to do this" and that he's hopeful the transition will benefit Service Electric customers.
Altice USA will reportedly offer “high-quality broadband, video, mobile and news offerings to thousands of additional homes and businesses in New Jersey.”
