Ski season has kicked off in New Jersey, and Mountain Creek Ski Resort in Vernon is experiencing a promising start. The resort reported a 30-percent increase in visitors over its opening weekend, indicating a strong beginning compared to last year when warmer temperatures delayed openings. This weekend, snow tubing will be available on Saturday and Sunday, but visitors must make advanced reservations.

Mountain Creek offers a new snow tubing area located in Cobblestone Village, where guests can enjoy a thrilling ride down the hill and be transported back up by a magic carpet. Online reservations are required, and tickets are priced at $39.99. The resort emphasizes that there will be no on-site ticket sales, so planning ahead is essential.

In addition to snow tubing, Mountain Creek provides various packages for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts. The resort offers a Triple Play Card, allowing three anytime visits without blackout dates or restrictions, and a 3X’s Go Package, which includes full-day snow access tickets, equipment rentals, and access to the Terrain Based Learning™ skills area.

Mountain Creek is also investing in improvements to enhance the skiing experience, including automated snowmaking for the next winter season. This investment aims to ensure optimal conditions and a better experience for all visitors.
