The Sussex County Library System (SCLS) has launched Book Club Kits to help bring readers together. Each kit includes six copies of a selected book, discussion questions, and a read-alike guide for future reading suggestions. These kits aim to simplify organizing book clubs by providing all necessary materials, except refreshments.
Library Director Will Porter expressed enthusiasm about the new offering, stating, "We are always looking for unique ways to meet the needs of our community." The kits are part of a broader effort by the library to support lifelong learning and community connection. Other resources available at the library include decorative cake pans, sewing machines, Memory Kits for individuals with dementia, and Chromebooks and mobile hotspots for remote work.
Patrons can browse the library's catalog and request a Book Club Kit for their next gathering. For more information about the kits and other resources, visit the Sussex County Library website.
