Lindsey Buckingham Teases New Album

While Fleetwood Mac fans continue to hold out hope for a full blown reunion after a seeming thawing in relations between Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, we have no news on that front. However, there is news of new music from Buckingham. The singer/guitarist posted a video on X over the weekend, describing a new album he's been working on. "This new album is just representative of the culmination of everything that I've learned from making solo albums over the last 25 years," he said. "I feel like this particular album is the culmination of holding a certain line ethically and idealistically that I've managed to maintain for many years. I'm really excited about this piece of work." He gave no other details, so fans will have to stand by. His last album was his 2021 eponymous project. 

METALLICA: On Giving and Vintage Rocking

Ahead of the annual Giving Tuesday push for charities across the country. Metallica appeared on CBS Sunday Morning to talk about their own charity work. The band spoke about the creation of the All Within My Hands Foundation and its Metallica Scholars program, which give scholarships for students to attend trade schools. The segment had James Hetfield also meeting one of the scholarship recipients for the first time. Watch it now on YouTube. Jack White Joined By Eminem At Thanksgiving Halftime Show, Releases Live Recording Of His Performance

If you missed halftime of the Packers-Lions game on Thanksgiving Day, you’re still covered. Jack White has put out a live recording of his Thanksgiving Day halftime show at Ford Field. The performance featured a team-up with Eminem and is now available on all the major streaming services. The recording includes White playing "That's How I'm Feeling," "Seven Nation Army," and a mashup of his song "Hello Operator" mixed with Eminem's "'Till I Collapse."

BRYAN ADAMS: A New Holiday Jam

Bryan Adams just released an album three months ago, but he's already got a new project on the way. Bryan Adams & Friends A Great Big Holiday Jam is the soundtrack to a TV special that's airing on Canada's CityTV on December 8th, which is the day the album will hit streaming services. Adams is joined by Alessia Cara, Alan Doyle, Barenaked Ladies and The Sheepdogs on the special, which was recorded live at Vancouver’s Warehouse Studio.

The first single is a new Adams and Jim Vallance original called "California Christmas." Check it out on YouTube.

Ace Frehley's Final Resting Place Revealed

The final resting place of Kiss legend Ace Frehley has been discovered in his hometown of Bronx, New York. Photos and videos surfaced on social media of his grave marker at Woodlawn Cemetery. Frehley died in October following a fall at his home studio. A memorial service later that month in Yonkers was attended by fellow bandmates Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, and Peter Criss.

Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley have posted an unboxing video for the massive Alive! box set just released for its 50th anniversary. The pair open up the vinyl version of the set, which comes with eight LPs of live material and a Blu-Ray with the original 1975 album mixed in Dolby Atoms. Watch the video on YouTube.

Jerry Cantrell Names Favorite Soundgarden Tracks

Alice in Chains' Jerry Cantrell recently talked about his favorite Soundgarden songs in an interview with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.Cantrell praised the band's entire catalog as "undefinable," noting tracks like "The Day I Tried to Live," "Rusty Cage," and "Black Hole Sun."Soundgarden was recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, with surviving members and special guests performing several of their hits. Cantrell joined the band on stage during the tribute.

Liam Gallagher Is Climbing Back On The Wagon After Relapsing On Oasis Tour

It’s back on the wagon for half of Oasis. Liam Gallagher says he's giving up alcohol again after having a few beers to celebrate the end of Oasis' reunion tour. The 53-year-old singer had quit drinking, smoking, and using drugs for the tour, which ended in Brazil on November 23rd. He had five beers after the final show, but says he wasn't feeling it and is back to being sober. Gallagher wrote on social media that he's back on the "righteous path free from temptation" and is enjoying being sober. He had originally quit drinking in March, saying the Oasis tour saved his life and that staying clean was worth it because he knew how much the tour meant to fans.

Linkin Park Bassist Says Comeback Tour "Going Very Well"

Linkin Park's bassist Dave "Phoenix" Farrell says the band's comeback tour has been a success. In an interview with Argentina's UnDinamo, Farrell said the band has stayed healthy and energized despite a long tour schedule. The band was on hiatus following the death of late frontman Chester Bennington in 2017. Their latest album, "From Zero," was released in November 2024 with Emily Armstrong as the band's new lead vocalist.

Radiohead Shatters Metallica's O2 Attendance Record

Radiohead is the new attendance record-holder at London's O-2 Arena following four consecutive shows. The shows took place November 21st, 22nd, 24th, and 25th, and each drew more than 22-thousand fans. The final night attracted a record 22-thousand-355 attendees, breaking a record previously held by Metallica. The concerts supported charitable causes, including the LIVE Trust and Samaritans.

QUEEN: A 360 Degree "Rhapsody"

Queen have posted the last episode in the latest season of their YouTube series, The Greatest.

This time out it's a new 360-degree video for "Bohemian Rhapsody" that can be watched on a smartphone, tablet, desktop or laptop computer, but is best viewed on a VR headset.

The new video mixes in the song’s original promotional video, on-screen lyrics and the single covers from around the world along with various images of Queen performing it live.

Warren DeMartini of Ratt and Rikki Rockett of Poison will be inducted into the Metal Hall of Fame on January 21st at The Roxy in Los Angeles.

Condolences go out to Jackson Browne, whose son Ethan was found dead at his home on November 25th. No cause of death was revealed. The 52-year-old model and actor appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone with his dad at just 6 months.

Annie Lennox of Eurythmics and her daughter Lola will join BeckLucy Dacus and others at Hooray for Hollydays at the Saban Theatre in Los Angeles on December 6th. Proceeds will go to Folk Cancer: The Kate McGarrigle Project with Cancer Can Rock. 

Dan Smith of Bastille sings and Peter Gabriel wrote English lyrics for "Lullaby" from Together for Palestine. The single, which will raise money for three Palestine charities, will be released on December 12th.

Flea of Red Hot Chili Peppers has launched his own YouTube channel. His first video is called “Thinkin” and it shows him playing a trumpet for a toddler.

The Black Crowes have posted another Amorica video from their vaults to celebrate its recent reissue. Check out the clip for "Cursed Diamond" on  YouTube.
