Dont get caught feeding the deer in New Jersey
I truly beieve that people who leave food out for the woodland creatures of our area are often very kind . They are only trying to co-exist. Ive often enjoyed sitting quietly just watching the deer walk across the meadow near my house..
Now , a new law makes it ILLEGAL to feed White Tailed deer. The fine could cost you $1000
" The bills prohibit intentional feeding of deer or "storing pet food, agricultural materials, salt, garbage or other deer attractants in a manner that will result in deer feedings when deer are known to frequent the area."
See the details from the NJ HERALD here
There are a few sides to this law that im sure not everyone will agree with. Take a look and let me know what you think.
