Max Yasgur, the dairy farmer from Upstate New York, the man who allowed "Woodstock" to happen on his farm, would have turned 101 years old today.
Max stood up to the locals who were against the festival and its attendee's at one point saying, "If we join them, we can turn those adversities that are the problems of America today into a hope for a brighter and more peaceful future..."
