Legoland New York Completes Tree Clearing

Legoland New York has completed tree clearing in Goshen.

The construction site is visible from Route 17.  If you're driving from Middletown to New York City, you can see the site after Exit 125 on the right-hand side of the highway.

Legoland New York will be a 170-acre theme park on a 500-acre parcel of land.  Building construction will begin soon.  The project is on schedule to open in the Spring of 2020.  The park will have nearly 1300 employees by 2020.

Hayley Coriarty, Community Relations Team Leader for Legoland New York, will be my special guest this Sunday night at 10 for a special Easter Sunday edition of "Talk to Me" on Z93 in the Hudson Valley and 103-7 NNJ in New Jersey.

Times Herald Record has the story.
