The Osbournes Are In Quarantine After Family Employee Contracts COVID-19

Sharon Osbourne is in isolation again after an employee who works at her and Ozzy Osbourne's Los Angeles home tested positive for COVID-19.

Sharon explained the situation Wednesday on The Talk.

"I'm home today because one of the ladies that I work with at home has come down with COVID. So we're all on lockdown," she said. "She's doing okay, but can you believe it? This is my second lockdown. Second time around, girls."

The Osbournes previously had to isolate in September after their grandchildren, five-year-old Andy and three-year-old Minnie, tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Sharon explained at the time that the children likely caught the virus from someone who works with their father, Jack Osbourne.

Out of an abundance of caution, Sharon remained in isolation for a full two weeks, despite testing negative for the virus more than once. "[Y]ou have to be safe," she reasoned at the time.

The Osbourne's second lockdown raises concerns for the health of Sharon's husband, who is living with Parkinson's disease while also rehabbing from neck surgery.

Ozzy has been stuck at home for the better part of two years after a series of medical emergencies, including pneumonia in early-2019, precluded him from continuing his 'No More Tours 2' farewell jaunt.

While Parkinson's patients are not considered at higher risk of suffering severe complications from COVID-19, the Parkinson's Foundation says patients with the neurological condition have a more difficult time recovering due to differences in their immune systems.
