LeAnn Rimes has rescheduled three shows, including last night's planned performance at the Newton Theatre, after suffering a "sudden loss" in the family. The singer-songwriter made the announcement on her Twitter page and apologized for the inconvenience.
It appears the death of Rimes' dog, Eveie, is the reason for the postponed shows. She took to Instagram last night to mourn the animal and said the dog died after being attacked by a coyote.
The 36-year-old said tweeted that they are "overwhelmed at the outpouring of kindness and love" and their "hearts are so broken right now."
The February 7 show at Newton Theatre has been rescheduled to Thursday, May 2nd and all tickets are valid for the rescheduled date.
