Dear Loyal Supporters:
Please be informed that the Sussex County St. Patrick’s Day Committee, Inc. members (the Committee) in attendance at its final meeting, held on the evening of July 17th, agreed to retire the Sussex County Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
The Committee, along with the participation of our Loyal Supporters and the generosity of our benefactors, are very proud of what we have accomplished over the past seventeen years; most especially spreading the pride in the Irish Heritage that we treasure and shared with you.
Notable among our experiences with our Loyal Supporters are the cherished friendships that developed over the years!
We sincerely thank Newton Township for theirs upport; most especially the Mayors and Councils, Police Chief Richards, the Police Department, the D.P.W., the Fire Department and the Ambulance Squad and the citizens of Newton.
In addition, Special Thanks to all who have supported and or participated in the parades and related events during the past seventeen years.
We are also proud that we raised approximately $30,000 through our Grand Marshal’s Chosen Charities program to benefit those non-profits that are listed on the attached “Our History” page.
